Getting Started
What's in the Box
- Cuelist pedal unit
- USB-C cable
- Quick reference card
Step 1: Connect via USB-C
Connect the included USB-C cable between the Cuelist's USB port and your computer. The pedal powers on via USB.
The Cuelist does not require wall power for initial setup — USB power is sufficient. USB and the 9V DC jack may be connected at the same time; the pedal safely manages multiple power inputs.
Step 2: Flash the Latest Firmware
Before first use, update your pedal to the latest firmware.
- Open Cuelist Flasher in Chrome or Edge
- Click Connect Device and select the Cuelist from the device picker
- Click Flash Firmware — the flasher will download and install the latest version automatically
- Wait for the UPDATE COMPLETE confirmation
Step 3: Open the Cuelist Editor
The Cuelist Editor is a web-based tool for creating and managing your song bank and setlists. It runs directly in your browser, or can be downloaded as a local app for offline use.
- Open the Cuelist Editor in Chrome or Edge.
- Connect to your pedal via USB or Bluetooth.
- Add songs to your song bank.
- Build your first setlist.
Step 4: Sync to Pedal
Once your setlist is built, click Sync to Pedal in the editor. The entire setlist is transmitted to the pedal's memory and persists when you disconnect USB.
Step 5: Use It Live
Take the pedal to the venue. Plug in your MIDI cables. The pedal will send the correct MIDI messages for each section of each song as you step through your setlist.
